Ladbrooke House is a detached 3 bedroom self catering property located in the heart of the picturesque Cambridgeshire village of Swaffham Bulbeck. The village is just 8 miles from the historic university city of Cambridge and 5 miles from Newmarket, the home of English horse racing. The property faces the village green and has views across open farmland at the rear. Both the village shop and pub are only a hundred yards away.

Local attractions include the National Trust property's of Anglesey Abbey (which is in the next village) and Wicken Fen nature reserve. The fenland city of Ely, famous for its Cathedral known as the Ship of the fens, is only 15 miles away.

There is an abundance of fenland walks and cycle ways all easily accessed from the house.

The nearby village of Bottisham, 1 mile away, has a sports centre with swimming pool as well as a shop and takeaways.

There are fast rail line links to London from Cambridge.

Within a few miles are the major roads A14 and M11 and Stansted Airport is a 45 minute car journey away.

RATES

Below are the price ranges for 2012.

The prices are for the cottage (not per person) for the number of nights specified. The price varies with the season (low, mid and high)

Week - Saturday to Saturday from £400 to £600 for seven nights
Weekend - Friday to Monday: from £150 to £250 for three nights
Midweek - Monday to Thursday: from £250 to £350 for four nights

Check in time on day of arrival is 4pm
Check out time on day of departure is 11am
